2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
If you register, we may collect username, phone number and/or email, password (stored hashed), and plan status (e.g. free / PRO).
2.2 Payment information
Payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not store full card numbers.
- China (dpopd.cn): Alipay (电脑网站支付). We receive order IDs and payment status.
- International (dpopd.com): Creem (Merchant of Record). We receive order / checkout identifiers and payment status needed to unlock PRO.
2.3 Product usage (ParrotAI)
- On-device context: Screen / window text snapshots and Memory used for Ask may stay on your device. We design local features so that private screen content is not uploaded for cloud sync by default.
- Hosted AI: When you use hosted Ask / rewrite features, prompts and necessary context are sent to our servers and/or LLM providers solely to generate a response, subject to rate limits on your plan.
2.4 Technical logs
We may collect IP address, browser type, request paths, and approximate timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and basic traffic statistics.
3. How we use information
- Provide and improve the Services (accounts, PRO entitlements, tools, games)
- Process payments and fulfill purchases
- Respond to support requests
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with applicable law
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Payment processors (Alipay, Creem) to complete transactions
- Infrastructure / LLM providers needed to run hosted AI features
- Authorities when required by law
5. International transfers
If you use dpopd.com from outside China, account and billing records may be processed on our servers in China and by payment / AI partners in other regions as needed to provide the Service.
6. Retention
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. You may request deletion of account data subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Security
We use industry-reasonable measures (HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your choices
- Access or update account details after signing in
- Contact us to request account deletion or a copy of account data we hold
- Disable or limit on-device capture features in the Parrot app settings where available
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
